Lexington Christian Academy, often referred to as LCA, is a private school located in Lexington, Massachusetts. The school educates students from sixth to twelfth grade. Although a day school, students are drawn from over 70 different communities, from three states, and overseas countries. The school recently elected a new Head of School, Mark Davis. Founded in 1946, Lexington Christian Academy is a college preparatory day school for 350 boys and girls in grades six through twelve, located on a 30-acre (120,000 m2) campus. Enrollment in the Academy is based upon the results of admission testing, prior academic record, personal character, and potential contribution. The Academy conducts college preparatory instruction on a semester schedule. Full-credit courses meet for six, 60-minute blocks that rotate every six days.
